The statement claimed that President Buhari was slated to leave the country this morning but delayed his traveling due to the arrival of 82 Chibok Girls who arrived in Abuja this afternoon.
It is also stated that the longevity on the president’s stay in London will be determined by his doctors. However, governance will continue as the president has duly handed over power to his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Mr president also reiterated his appreciation to Nigerians for their prayers over his health.
In conclusion, Mr President has sent letters to the leadership of the National Assembly, informing them of the latest development in compliance within the purview of the national constitution.
